5 things to do with a newborn, when the weather is bad

There are many things that usually a small child when the weather is beautiful out there to do - go for a walk in the park, playing in the yard and so on.

But what about those days when it is pouring rain, or in the middle of a cold spell in winter, or during a heatwave in the summer? What then?

Here are 5 great ideas for things with a young child, if not out.

N. 1 - Visit the public library - and do not read books. Take your child to the library. ManyLibraries in several cities in North America to play "boys" and explore areas. For example, in our city - most of the Hamilton public library locations have an area where your child can play outside until limp. They have created a miniature railway play for a puppet stage for the aspiring actor, puzzles galore. Its free and good way, an active time with your child and spend a.

No. 2 - Visit to a children's museum. I like many things fun and interesting surprisesto see and in a museum for children. And you can be pleasantly surprised to find that in your city or nearby city. Just online and in your favorite search engine like Google or Yahoo kind of children go to the museum.

children's museum in our city has to experience large blocks, musical instruments, play with, a paint shop with skirts (no more chaotic - but one that should be fun), to feel the stones with fossils and see aquariums, coloring stations and amuch more. It can not be free in your city, but it does not cost much. Check it out for fun with your child.

Step 3 - Visit the company of a supply store like Staples or a big box store like Costco and Sam's Club I know you have to think how much fun it can be. Most of our children love to ride a cart. So if it is not so nice outside, I did one of these stores head and put my husband in the car and we can spend up to an hour to walk through the aisles. We stoppick something colorful - like a block of colored sticky notes. We feel, smell and then we put them back. Something unusual, but still funny!

Number 4 - go shopping. The trick here is that this is not the time to buy a long list of food - enough to buy a few things. This is a trip to focus on your child and experience everything in the store. Pop the baby in the shopping cart and watch the green pepper, red pepper, keep a box ofshake Kleenex, a box of macaroni, feel the roughness of a kiwi, and so on.

No. 5 - Visit a restaurant for a snack. One of my favorite things to do in a coffee shop or a McDonald's to visit for a snack. like a muffin - This trip is for each restaurant, has a high chair and selling healthy food to work. We do it once a week - go to one of the other tours listed above, and then go to a Williams Coffee Shop, McDonald's. I order a muffin for the exchange, aGlass of ice water and a coffee for me. I put my boy on a chair, and we like to share the muffins and let him enjoy sipping a glass of water - not sippy cups here - the water slurping down his shirt is part of the fun is.

There are many people usually play music in the background and large businesses looking for a snack to share with each other. There may be better than this - food, fun and good company.

These are the 5 ideas that work for us. Use these asStarting point and create your own adventures for your child - even if it is not so nice outside.
